Unlike Evita, Mr. Barak has thought well in advance on his travels. I took note of his statement while standing on Afgani soil. He said that the current administration needs to get additional troops into the country ASAP. If we wait until the nest administrations, it will be too late.

Of course this sets the stage for him. Because of escalated Taliban activity, G.W. has no choice but to step up the troops. Obama can then say “see I told you so”!
