All the weaklings ought to be happy now because you now have a president who is anti-gun; but I wonder how he would be protected without all those guns around him to protect him from the many who would like to see him dead.
It is also a myth to think that with the outlawing of guns that violent deaths would disappear. I know of a dozen ways to kill you without a gun.
There are many crooked lawmen from whom a gun can be obtained with the proper sum of money. Do you really think that all the illegal guns hauled out to sea to be dumped are really dumped?
I have handled guns all my adult life, and if I used one everytime some ass-hole pissed me off, the list would be longer than you are tall.
Also, no one knows what the founding fathers had in mind. In fact, who gives a damn in this day and time what those old farts had in mind? They had in mind, if anything, how soon they could get down to the slave cabins and bang those wenches.
Finally, Americans are not going to give up their guns no matter how many gun fearing citizens hoop and holler. Legally and/or illegally guns will be with us in America; get used to the idea.
I only hope that you will never see the day when you wished you had a gun
