In this one hundredth and final post of the year is a reminder that the below, narrative play, Strange Land / Strange Brand begins its three-day run on January 6, which coincidentally, is All Kings Day.

El día de los tres reyes magos is celebrated in Latin America, and presumably elsewhere. Mimicking the mission of the Magi, it is the day when, in this season, gifts are made to the children of those countries.

Narrators recount the almost four centuries of the African imprint upon the body and psyche of North America from early 17^th century to the present day. The narrators channel the disinterred voices of those who created – and the present voices of those who continue to create – that imprint.
