OBAMA: REAL or REAL-LIFE?

President Barack Obama either is an empty suit with a teleprompter or he has allowed himself to be painted as such. If it is the former, he was destined to be an historical flash in the pan, and then hustled off to the dust bins of history. If it is merely thee latter, then, he had better destroy that Dorian Grey alter-image before it destroys him.

If Obama is the real deal, what he must do is to tell all of his detractors to kiss his ass and look toward Texas. Texas is the right direction because  -- along with a regressive South Carolina, both of these southern sates are doing the dozy-doe with the Obama-hating Tea Party movement.  Apart from Texas’s flirting with the delights of secession, in the current Texas intramural political squabbling, they liberally are passing about toxic ante bellum terms such as “intercession” and “nullification.”

Together with “secession,” these words were common jargon in the southern debate that sought to denigrate further the Negro, and led to the horrific national schism that exacted 600,000 Black and White sacrifices on both sides of the contest. That struggle set us upon the road of unification that some, now, seem so invested in reversing.

Do not buy the assertion that the Tea Party movement sprang from the grassroots. With former congressional firebrand Dick Armey’s and other so-called political organizations used as fronts, racist-tainted corporte –interest dollars successfully have been able to establish this “peoples” movement. Its purpose is to carry out the Rush Limbaugh dictum to squash this uppity “Magic Negro” and return the corporate-protective Republicans to power.

If there is any doubt as to the true nature of these Tea-baggers, then hear them howl when “Sarah the Barracuda”  repeats the hatchet job on Barack that she began with her maiden speech at the Republican Convention. Then listen as Colorado’s colostomy bag Tom Tancredo spews out his anti-Latino and anti-Black venom by suggesting that the nation would be better served by again restricting the vote to those whose epidermis remains untainted by the stain of melanin.

So, there you have it, Barack. If you ARE in that suit, you’d better make your presence known. You can “make nice” all you want, in the belief that just the right amount of charm will win them over. But, brother, they are after your ass -- So, you had better start by kicking theirs! There is not a single bone of bipartisanship among the lot of them. If it is not clear to you by now, it is to everyone else: You are a great-big target, and they are all shooting at you! – Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Michael Savage, Mark Levin, along with every single Republican in the Senate and House of Representatives – even that sneaky little faux “independent” Joe Lieberman.

So, “Barry,” or whoever may be inside that dubiously occupied suit, you’d better get busy, because the artwork this bunch of Barack-bashers is painting with their acid-tinted ammo ain’t a very pretty picture!
